Nirvana Therapy was created as a space where people can slow down and feel supported. The word Nirvana refers to liberation, a release from suffering and the patterns that keep us feeling stuck. In this context, it does not imply the absence of pain or difficulty, but the possibility of relating to our experiences with greater awareness and freedom. This practice was shaped around that idea: not forcing change, but creating space for understanding to emerge.
People come here carrying different concerns like ongoing stress, emotional exhaustion, relationship difficulties, unresolved grief, past experiences that still feel close, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite sitting right. You don’t need to arrive with clear answers. Therapy here begins with listening and unfolds gently, guided by what feels most relevant to you.
The work at Nirvana Therapy is collaborative and grounded. Rather than pushing for quick fixes, sessions focus on helping you make sense of patterns, emotions, and responses in a way that feels manageable and respectful of your pace. It’s less about changing who you are and more about understanding yourself with greater clarity and compassion. This practice is rooted in ethical care, confidentiality, and emotional safety. Meet Our Founder
Hi, I’m Shreya Agrawal, a Counselling Psychologist and the founder of Nirvana Therapy.
I believe therapy isn’t just about fixing problems it’s about feeling seen, heard, and understood. At its core, therapy is a space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and feel less alone in what you’re carrying.
I work with adults aged 18- 45 who are navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship and attachment struggles, emotional overwhelm, grief, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and the quiet heaviness of everyday life. Some people come in with a clear reason, others simply know that something feels off. Both are equally welcome here.
Clients often share that they feel comfortable opening up in our sessions because I listen without rushing, offer structure without pressure, and meet them where they are- emotionally and mentally. Alongside my practice, I’m deeply committed to breaking the stigma around mental health and creating conversations that feel approachable, humane, and real.
